Moon - Tonon seat

For those who are lost in looking at the unspeakable beauty of the moon, in every phase. For those who have looked up, at night, with dreamy eyes, traveling with their minds towards that distant world. The moon, unreachable and at the same time magnetic, has always been the subject of poems, stories, desires. So the designer Mac Stopa wanted to pay homage to her, expressing the pleasant and dreamy shapes of the moon through the design.

The shape of the Moon armchair by Mac Stopa for TONON expresses the designer's passion for curved and organic lines. The backrest is harmoniously connected with the armrests and becomes one with the seat, creating an open space between the backrest and the seat itself, in the shape of a crescent.

The armchair in the Full Moon version, with slightly more generous dimensions, instead recalls the spherical fullness, welcoming the body as in a long embrace. Its internal structure is made of polyurethane foam and is subsequently covered in leather or fabric.

The Little Moon seats, as well as that of Moon, in addition to the padded version, are also offered in integral “soft touch” polyurethane, with sometimes discreet colors or playing with brighter shades, which highlight their shape.

The collection consists of several elements.
Little Moon is a chair as well as a stool of contained dimensions, suitable for fitting into residential contexts, or as a seat for an elegant restaurant or café.
Moon is an armchair that incorporates the design of Little Moon intended for environments where there is more space to enhance it.
Finally, Full Moon is proposed as the top of the range, with its full backrest and a metal structure that supports it, of particular design.
